Come and explore the stunning Yarra river. Enjoy the cruisey Grade 1 and 2 rapids. It’s so close to Melbourne and yet feels so remote.
Details
Day 1
Meet at Lower Homestead Rd Wonga Park. Get ready for the overnight trip, packing gear into drybags. Receive your safety gear and enjoy a skills and safety brief before heading off on our journey. Paddle and enjoy the local wildlife , exciting rapids and relaxed flow of the river. Camp at Clifford Park campground and enjoy a fire, good food and the spectacular view of the stars. There is an option for extra activities here such as archery, frisbee golf, commando and abseil.
Day 2
Wake up to the call of the Kookaburra, the mist rising above the river and the small of fresh open air. Enjoy a cooked breakfast and a hot cup of coffee or tea before packing up your gear and getting on the river. There are a few fun grade 2 rapids today and lots of beautiful remote scenery to take in. We will finish the journey at Jumping Creek, or continue to Cresco campground.

Day 3 Option
Cresco Campground to Westerfolds Park
Paddle past the tunnel, enjoy numerous grade 2 rapids and finish at Westerfolds Park.
